Now, as for the 1949 CJ 3a, we picked that up in May 2018 from a family friend of my wife’s. It was “restored” back in 1982 and has been living in a barn and driving around the POs farm since then. It is in really good shape. Since picking it up, I have done little things like add mirrors and mount the spare on the rear passenger side. I also ran fuel hose around the metal fuel lines to help insulate them to stop a vapor lock issue I was having. Recently I replaced the 6v battery and cleaned up all of the cable connections to help with a starting issue. I think the battery had a bad cell and was not cranking well. Seems to do better now. No real plans for it other then new tires and keep it nice and drive it around as much as I can.

I will be replacing Clutch, flywheel & trans for Mike in his YJ... Plan is to pick it up via trailer this Friday. I will be getting pics & do a write-up when completed, as clutch jobs are fairly easy & straight forward although they can be time consuming.
Wasnt sure what to call this build to be honest. Then i remembered what it was like 18 years ago when I bought my first Jeep. I was pooring over all those Jeep catalogs thinking what I would build if i could afford all those top shelf parts I was drooling over. . . so it seemed fitting. LOL I met my friend Buddy through another forum a few years ago. Long story short he had an idea so he bought a brand new Scrambler tub and the first TDK frame. Some 6 years later, a few different shops, and alot of headache later this is what he had. Custom CJ8 with half a poison spyder catalog thrown at it. LOL 6.0 LS motor. First run ATX beadlocks with 39.5 Iroks. I gotta admit these beadlocks are impressive! Evolution offroad suspension with King coilovers. Teraflex axles front and rear. Atlas 3.8 case. Got it to my shop Friday started working on a very LONG list an sorting through boxes of parts. Game plan is just about there. Had a pretty productive day today and had a great time doing it. Some friends stopped by to check it out and lend a hand even my younger brother got dirty today. LOL Going over the frame finishing fabbing brackets, welding, acessing hardware, fuel lines etc. My to do list is 4 pages long and growing but this should be a fun build! Later Sean
I am brand new to the forum guys, but i think there are a few people on here that know me. Anyway I have a 97 jeep grand cherokee laredo. 4.0 inline six, seletrac 4x4. has brand new goodyears on it, and $700 worth of front suspension work recently done. it has extended steelbraided break lines, that are good for a 6in lift. also has tubular lower control arms in the rear. the interior is nice other then the saggy headliner. and the body isnt perfect but not bad. Cylinder 2 injector is bad, im going to replace it though. Transmission slips at times, i will be finding out soon what exactly is wrong with it. 4wd works great though Id like 1k but its pretty nego. I really need this gone, there is a wrangler i want. text or call 540 293 8852
