Now, as for the 1949 CJ 3a, we picked that up in May 2018 from a family friend of my wife’s. It was “restored” back in 1982 and has been living in a barn and driving around the POs farm since then. It is in really good shape. Since picking it up, I have done little things like add mirrors and mount the spare on the rear passenger side. I also ran fuel hose around the metal fuel lines to help insulate them to stop a vapor lock issue I was having. Recently I replaced the 6v battery and cleaned up all of the cable connections to help with a starting issue. I think the battery had a bad cell and was not cranking well. Seems to do better now. No real plans for it other then new tires and keep it nice and drive it around as much as I can.
